This is a three part series of reflections and summaries of this talk by Kim Walker-Smith.
Kim Walker Smith - Impatience & Fear
Have you ever thought about your free will as a weapon? The enemy really does not want us to realize that it is. The enemy doesn't over ride our free will. He works by convincing us to make bad choices. Every time we choose to listen to God instead we walk under his protection. Hell trembles at a person determined to do the will of the Father.
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. - 1 Corinthians 10:13
I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live, loving the Lord your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him, for he is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.” - Deuteronomy 30:19-20
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. - James 4:7
For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery. - Galatians 5:1
