It seems 2016 was a rough year for a lot of people. But this past week, I've been looking forward. I ask God to give me some word to carry
with me into the new year.
For 2017 I heard this verse and two words;
I'll spend the year unpacking that and figuring out what it means.
No word or scripture can replace a daily walk with God but it helps to set and keep direction. Pray for God to give you a word for this year or season of your life.
I cling to you;
your right hand upholds me. - Psalm 63:8
so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. - Isaiah 55:11
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. - Hebrews 4:12
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. - Psalm 119:105
